Ray’s journey in carpentry began in the early 90s, honing his skills among the historic brownstones of downtown Chicago and its sprawling western suburbs. In 1991, he brought that big city expertise to Berks County, founding Ray's Home Remodeling (RHR) on a simple foundation: excellence without compromise.

Unlike typical contractors who juggle rotating crews of strangers, Ray takes a hands on, "lead from the front" approach. By performing nearly all the essential work himself. From intricate tile and plumbing to electrical and finish carpentry; Ray ensures your project moves forward daily without the typical delays of subcontracting. It’s a more personal way to build, resulting in a cleaner jobsite, a faster timeline, and a level of quality that only an owner-operator can guarantee.
